Food. Guilt. The two are inextricably linked. I worry about eating too much of it. Eating too little of it. Spending too much money on it. Is it ethically produced? Is it healthy? Is it organic? Is it biodynamic? Is it low in fat? Does it have the right fats or the wrong fats? What is the socio-environmental impact of it? How many food miles does it have? What does it say about me as a human being if I buy it? What does it say about me as a consumer if I buy it? How will it impact my image if I am seen purchasing or eating it? And finally, do I worry about it too much?
