My New Lunchbox

Bento Box

Bento Box

In an effort to save money and stop generating so much waste, I recently bought one of London designers, Black & Blum’s new Bento Boxes to start bringing my own lunches into work. (Think about your last visit to Pret a Manger – you finish eating and find in front of you a veritable landfill site of empty yogurt pots, sandwich boxes, wrappers, sleeves, cans, bags and bottles)

Yesterday’s lunch was some leftover fresh pea & goats’ cheese risotto and today I brought in a salad with balsamic dressing. There’s a little divider insert provided so if I want to, I could even have risotto AND salad in the same meal if I want to! There’s also a little container for dressings and sauces, so they don’t make your salad soggy before eating.

Apparently I’ve just discovered the packed lunches which everyone else has been eating since the age of 7.
